Alison Gilmore

Alison Gilmore earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Santa Clara University and worked in various fields including property management and real estate. Later, she earned her juris doctorate at Santa Clara University School of Law. While attending law school, she taught consumer debt clinics at the Katharine & George Alexander Community Law Center, worked as a case investigator at the Northern California Innocence Project, and earned awards in negotiations and advocacy. She spent the early part of her legal career working in criminal, landlord/tenant and civil law.
In 2021, Alison joined Goyette, Ruano & Thompson as a part time associate in the Labor & Employment Department while simultaneously working as a police officer in the Bay Area. Her representation includes law enforcement officers, firefighters and public sector employees with labor issues that arise during the course of their employment.
