Tony Silva is a former law enforcement professional with almost 30 years of dedicated service in the field of law enforcement. Throughout his extensive career, he has demonstrated unwavering commitment to upholding justice, protecting communities, and advocating for the rights of his fellow officers.

In 1999 about eleven years into his law enforcement career, Tony became a board member of his Police Officer Association.  He also served as President, Vice-President, Negotiation Team Member and a Trustee on the POA’s Medical Retiree Trust.  During this time, he also gained experience representing employees in internal affairs matters.

In 2017, after retiring from the police force, Tony transitioned seamlessly into a new role as a Labor Representative for Goyette Ruano and Thompson. Drawing upon his wealth of experience and deep understanding of the challenges facing public sector employees, Tony has since been instrumental in providing expert guidance and representation to a diverse range of public employee clients. Whether advocating for fair labor practices, negotiating collective bargaining agreements, or providing representation during administrative investigations, Tony remains steadfast in his commitment to ensuring the rights and well-being of workers are upheld.
